How to resolve Connectivity issue from OBIEE (in Solaris) using Datadirect connector.
Solution
i. Description
Sometimes an error occured in oracle BI in solaris environment due to connection defined in connection pool in odbc and in dsn of oracle10g/11g. So there will connectivity issue from OBIEE in solaris.
ii. Procedure
To resolve this issue, there is a need of small change in odbc.ini file.
Follow the following steps to resolve this issue
1. Go to OracleBI/setup
2. Open odbc.ini
3. Comment the line 'QEWSD=2455726' (the number might vary)
4. Restart the Oracle BI Server.
